@TodePond good ideas.. it's a bit difficult to know how many strudel events can be handled. it depends on how complex each event is (which synth/sound how many effects) + on the cpu. maybe there could be a simple global setting haplimit(50) to limit the number of haps per second or something. they would then fizzle out randomly (like we sketched in a session earlier). the haplimit function could be called from the console, so people could set their own
