No one is above what law? Natural law? Or the stepped down version of natural law represented by the state?
Nobody gets off this planet alive. We're all rushing ahead to our own mortality. Truly, *no one* is above *that* law.
However, anyone with enough time, money and influence can play the system to their benefit because that model is *intended* to err on the side of innocence.
And I, for one, would not have it any other way.
