Deep technical problems are not only technical challenges, that’s why they require attention & collaboration to:
1. Understand, map/model the problem space
2. Select the appropriate solution/tool for the problem space model.
E.g. if I want to travel to San Francisco, USA from London, UK
a.) I have to travel about 8000 miles
b.) transportation has to be able to successfully cross an ocean
Working “backwards” from outcome to starting point is 10x faster at eliminating “duds”.
