@tante I can agree, but with a caveat and example: if you understand your requirements and your requirements are different, then an "incomplete" or "inferior" seeming solution may be suitable.
Take nosql document-stores (as a technical example) that can be considered a sort of inferior database, but the design choices are deliberately subtlely different from those of databases.
I personally wouldn't consider that a valid example for your statement.
