@futurebird @DrorBedrack It amazes me the wall that goes up with regards to math with so many people. That wall gets built when they're young, learning math, get stuck, and get dismissed by a overworked teacher. Saying something is simple doesn't make it so, especially if the learned doesn't understand some key point, and re-enforces "math makes me feel dumb”.
On top of that there's the entire societal “math/science is hard” noise.
It's an important uphill battle.
