@tante In their eyes, the government’s only purpose is to protect private property, therefore every dime spent on social welfare programs is „bloat“ to them. It’s also the reason why they don’t have a problem with increasing spending on police and military. So they don’t want to get rid of the state or taxes, they just don’t want others to have nice things.
