This thread reminds me of a scene in the book “Time and Again” by Jack Finney. In it, a character from modern times travels back to 1880s New York. He attempts to impress some people he meets with his artistic sketches, but they find it unintelligible and ugly because it’s not strictly realistic. When he adds crosshatching for texture and other elements common to sketches of the time, they feel much better about him.
I suppose that’s how I feel about the cybertruck. :blobcatlaugh:
