Years ago, I investigated three #cryptocurrencies: XRP (Ripple), Iota and Solarcoin.
I didn’t understand how they could possibly be decentralized given their own marketing material.
Turns out that all three were heavily centralized and that it was written black on white in their whitepaper.
They just "pretended" to be decentralized on their website and not even trying to hide the fact they were centralized.
It was marketing bullshit.
