I've tried both but they don't have the flow of mastodon. they create separate islands basically. I want a mashup. I think that's the magic of #ActivityPub. our killer app. we're in the stages of doing what platforms do, in a decentralized way. like TV was originally basically radio programs. but we'll eventually just take the best of everywhere. every article, video and podcast episode should be an OP etc. design servers/apps around type of user instead of service. what they can't do.
