@tante I don’t see how it’s not a book about surveillance. You’re right that it’s also a book about power and class so maybe that’s the part that resonates with you but a book can be about a lot of things at once.
Reductionism when evaluating art can be dangerous. Most artists probably couldn’t tell you the one thing their art is about.
