As a longtime admirer of #federation, I used #netnews in the 1990s, #Jabberο»Ώ/ο»Ώ#XMPP since 2014, and #Mastodon since 2017.
Now I wonder, how federated #BS really is. So far, I couldn't find a public instance in the #EU, and #selfHosting only becomes an option for me, when all relevant server components are packaged for #Debian.
