@antijingoist @pkotrcka there is quite a lot you can do without JS. Other tasks can be done with specific software.
For example, instead of loading youtube videos on the web, they can be opened by mpv¹ with a fraction of the resource usage.
I'm also testing florb² for maps. It loads the map before the enter key returns when invoked from the command line and uses 25MiB of resident memory.
