Thanks to everyone for answering. I like the idea of urban scale Fediverse account servers. That said, I prefer a smaller affinity group. Qualified yes.

@evan My city government would outsource it to Capita who would manage around 50% uptime, forget to do any security updates, then let scammers take it over. So no. In another world definitely, [β¦]
@evan I wouldn't have an account on it as it's too locally bound for me to attach long-term thing like friends to it.
OTOH, it may make sense to have a dedicated account for local info if [β¦]
