I don't often talk to people, and when I do, I rarely talk about social media, so the opportunities to talk about the Fediverse almost never come up.

@evan using the election as an example of what happens when social media is centralized AGAIN, it’s been easy setting folks up

@evan I only bring it up when relaying something I read. Nobody in my friend group cares about any of that sort of thing.

@evan I bring it up with students when the topic of social media sources arise.

@evan When I talk to people about Fedi it is mostly "You have to see this wild meme!" - subtle indirect forms of proselytizing FTW :blobfoxwink:
