@futurebird I wanted to see a picture of earth and moon to scale with the distance between them.
Turns out, our standard screen resolutions make this kinda impossible because drawn to scale, they need to be one pixel and smaller than one pixel to fit the distance between them on the screen.
Isn’t that annoying?
This is not entirely true. They can fit inside a digital image on a modern screen but it used to be considered unnecessary to show them to scale for so long, almost nobody bothered. I found one picture I think.
