@futurebird can’t prove it but there up to something. Today I noticed the black garden ants that had a trail from the front yard to the back actually have two trails one follows the brickwork around the driveway the other just crosses it. The meet up at the side stairs! Why? Then after the first set of risers they split off again and go their seperate ways? WTH is going on?
