I make no claim to being a Linux/Debian/Ubuntu/Pop_OS! power user. I enjoy this family of OSes and prefer them to everything else known to humans, but the family has its drawbacks.

Since updating to latest Pop_OS! 20.10 packages, I've tried changing permissions and running the Lagrange AppImage, as well as compiling from source (dev and release branches), both to no avail. The AppImage tries its best, and the compile succeeds without evident error, yet trying to execute either I am always getting:

X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 151 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 3 (X_GLXCreateContext)
  Value in failed request: 0x0
Serial number of failed request: 107
Current serial number in output stream: 108

Early in the year I committed to only using Github for work and as I don't need Lagrange for work, won't be filing an Issue on that particular surveillance platform at this time. I've compiled amfora and am liking it. In the meantime I'll keep tabs on the public Lagrange repo, looking for updates. Perhaps I could inform @skyjake via some channel other than Github, but that just seems like poor form, and if I put myself in their shoes, annoying to be contacted with an error report in such a way.

I will check out amfora and figure out over time how I have managed to break Lagrange.
