Right, remember that kid from a few posts ago that got on my nerves? The one that shouts
shut up, I hate you
when given simple instructions? I’m going to do my best to expel him. He dragged one of the camp counselors around the gymnasium at the community center today. My patience has run out and I do not think he is a good fit for our camp program. The counselors are high school and college students looking to earn some money, not professional behavioral specialists, which is what that psychotic kid needs. My supervisor keeps shutting me down whenever I recommend expulsion, so I’m going to press her for reasons as to *why* we can’t kick him out. If she still doesn’t give me a good reason, I’m going above her.
Basically, I see no reason to keep him in the program, why is it impossible to remove him? He knows what he’s doing is wrong, he knows (or at least suspects) that we can’t expel him, so why the hell are we letting him run rampant?
If any other kid did what he did in the gymnasium, I would be just as livid. I’d say
that camper needs to be expelled
just the same. He’s not inclusion or special education, so he gets no special treatment ∴ he should be expelled as a consequence of his behavior throughout his time in the camp program. If he does anything at all tomorrow, he’s getting a call home. If I can get his parents to pick him up too, good.
Yeah, pretty alright. My attitude toward my job is supernegative right now, even though I’m almost at the end. We’ll see how it goes tomorrow.
