Here are some photos of my Zaurus SL-c760. For comparison, many of them also feature my Sony Clie NX-70V, which the Zaurus is replacing.

One thing not pictured is the screen rotated; you can rotate the screen and fold it back over the keyboard and use the unit in portrait mode like a more traditional PDA.

Mathematically speaking, the Zaurus has a slightly smaller volume than the Clie, but is approximately the same.

This shows both devices from the end. On the left is the Clie with its (open) CF slot and memory stick slot. The Zaurus is on the right with its CF slot. The Clie tapers down, so while they are approximately the same height here, the Clie is thinner on the other end.

The Zaurus has a white battery cover visible beneath it. This is used with the extended battery, included by default. If you don't need that kind of battery life, you can use the (included) much smaller slim cover, and save a good deal of thickness.

Here you can see the devices stacked atop each other. The Clie is on the bottom and the Zaurus is on the top. You can see that the Zaurus is thicker than the Clie, but not as long. The white battery cover is even more visible here (it's the white on the top.

You also get a view of the back side of the Zaurus. There's the AC adapter plug at the left, the SD slot next to it, the IR port, the "Jog-dial-like" dial, the OK/Cancel switch (these two are useful when you're rotated the screen), and the power button.

A view from the top when opened; Clie on the left, Zaurus on the right. Note that although the units are approximately the same physical size, the Zaurus' keyboard is much larger and more usable due to its orientation.

A closer-up view of the Zaurus from the top. Along the right of the Zaurus screen are five silkscreen buttons that can be mapped. At the base near the lower-left corner of the screen are the device's two LEDs: battery/charge and new mail.

This photo was taken without a flash with both units set to their maximum brightness settings. Although the Clie already has a quite bright display, the Zaurus can get far brighter.
