How about stories about mass suicide?
I spent my undergraduate time at Rice University,
which had the honor for a while of having the highest
suicide rate of any university in the nation.
Not being content to sit by and let the students lead
the way, one day approximately 75% of the faculty
of the German Department offed themselved en masse.
I have seen documentation supporting this.  Anyone
else have any nice stories about mass suicides?
