Long-lived Cetaceans
stylistic points are well taken.  In a complicated pun of this nature,
it is well to avoid the use of the actual words used in the PUNch
line, so as not to telegraph the pun to the listener.  However,
this pun appeared in more or less this exact form in a collection
of puns published by Bennet Cerf more than fifteen years ago. 
It's a good pun, and one of my favorites, but if anyone holds a
"copyright" on it, it would be Mr. Cerf.
