Hot Fudge For those of you who like nothing better than making yourselves sick on too much hot fudge, here is certifiably the best recipe for hot fudge there is, and I've tried many. It is bittersweet, black as tar and gets gooey and sticky as it cools on the ice cream. Plus it takes five minutes to make. BRING TO A BOIL 1/2 cup heavy cream 3 Tablespoons butter STIR IN AND DISSOLVE 1/3 cup brown sugar SIFT IN AND DISSOLVE 3/4 cup Ghirardelli Chocolate (if unavailable, substitute 1/3 cup white sugar --added with the brown-- and 1/2 cup Hershey's COCOA) ADD 1 Tablespoon brandy (strictly optional) Let it cool a little(i.e. stop boiling)and enjoy.
