Early in its life it belched on my unibus from time to time, resulting in dropped interrupts on my adjacent able dmax dh emulation. This resulted in terminals freezing and processes waiting on their output queue to hang. I use it with a Cipher dual density drive which needs its vacuum column servos adjusted annoyingly often (2-3 months) and has had three transducers, each subject to a 1 year warranty and each for free (!). If I had to do it again I guess I'd try the Kennedy drive, but I have no quarrel with the controller --bob morris ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
