In this mode, it requires the same padding as the C100, but the large FIFO lets you get away with just forgetting about it entirely. If you leave the window set to the full memory, ins/del line takes absolutely forever. In 132 column mode, it won't keep up with straight character output for very long. Sending a C100 or C108 causes it to emit a BREAK as if the user had typed the BREAK key! This is what Initiate Break means, which EAK couldn't understand in an old INFO-TERMS message.
