This is David C. Plummer (dcp@mc).  I have trained myself to use both of
the control keys on the space cadet keyboards.  In fact, I do something
a little weirder: I use the heel of my hand for the control keys.  This
relieves my poor pinky from the strain of the stretch, and I find the
heel a much faster method of typing control characters.  Unfortunately,
I seem to be the only one that does this.
