For a while now we have been working on a project to improve the readbility and convenience of electronic texts available in the public domain. Going beyond plain ASCII files we feel that we have come closer to having created the electronic book in its true form. We have used our own Hypercard based format on more than a dozen «classic« texts and we have allready recieved great response from users all over the world who have been reading our books. Our current library of titles contains: The Time Machine War of the Worlds Study In Scarlet Sign of Four Adventures of S. _Holmes Memoirs of S. Holmes Hound of the_Baskervilles Valley of Fear His Last Bow Princess Of Mars Heart of Darkness Red Badge Of Courage Connecticut Yankee Dracula Frankenstein These books are all free of charge. They require Hypercard 2.1 or later (and thus a Macintosh). They can be obtained by anonymous FTP.
