This capsule post is in response to the exchange on Station:
gemini://station.martinrue.com/freezr/ae760efbfc4d4d8e812bd9ff9eda8f3e
I remembered how I had to do some digging and experimentation before I got a working filter for antenna.
My personal reason for filtering or excluding content was because there are frequent posts in languages that I do not know and wanted a way to view the list of recent posts of only the languages that I do know.
Use a filter when viewing Antenna content:
1. Go to the Antenna capsule and jump to the bottom of the page:
2. At the bottom of the page select the link, "Customize your Antenna view."
3. When prompted with, "Type 'y' if you want to create a filter, otherwise go back." select, "y"
4. When the page reloads, select "1" first link for "Configure your filter."
5. A list of all of the recent gemini feeds will be displayed. Select the feed to block it.
6. This will take you to the Antenna page but with that one feed filtered out. If there are more feeds you want filtered out then again select "1" to go back to the feed list and select another feed to block.
When you select "1" to Configure your Filter you will notice that the top of the feed list shows any blocked feeds.
Example:
Your Filter Rules . [1] gemini://gemini.ctrl-c.club/~nristen/atom.xml (Click to remove) . [2] Click to block 'gemini://jsreed5.org/feeds/log.xml' [3] Click to block 'gemini://tilde.pink/~telepta/gems/feed.gmi' [4] Click to block 'gemini://altesq.net/~evenfire/atom.xml'
If you select a feed which is already blocked ("Click to remove") then it will be removed from the exclude filter and again show up on the list.
Notice that the filtered Antenna url/link contains a hash at the end.
You want to bookmark or save this url in order to go to the filtered list.
