I'm a passionate computer nerd just like you who has just started using Gemini!
I'm into computer programming, hacking (as in tinkering), old tech, Internet
works, and more!
I like to experiment with programming as a hobby - it's pretty relaxing - and I
am thinking of learning Rust as I am writing this. Currently I know C/C++, HTML,
CSS, JavaScript, Python, and when I say I know them, I still know them just a
tiny bit. :(
I believe Internet access should be a fundamental, universal human right,
free from the likes of tech giants like Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, and
Google (FAANG). I believe social media was made not to connect people (not so-
cial *networks* like MySpace, Friendster, Hi5) but to manipulate public opinion,
and make the general population more addicted. Because of that, I am also against
Section 230, the law that gives them power and control over the Internet with
little to no patroling.
