I'm trying out using the gemini protocol properly. I've been reading about it for the past few days, and it's caught my eye for it's simplicity and focus on hypertext. Pages load fast, there's plenty of content created within its ecosystem, and it seems to be encouraged by the tildeverse [1].
I'm not sure how much I'll put into it. It's fun writing in a terminal-based text editor, but also having a modern GUI editor and browser could be interesting. It might tie into the tools I'm trying to build for hypertext content creation. Search and discovery is something I've not gotten too deep into, yet, but it makes me wonder about effective ways to surf through different pages and condense the information into something more useful for an individual user. Maybe we've been doing it all wrong?
