As I was sliding my way into the booth, I noticed that the older gentleman in the booth next to ours had an uncanny resemblance to William Gibson [1], a writer well known for his cyberpunk novels Neuromancer [2], Count Zero [3] and Mona Lisa Overdrive [4]. It was amazing to think that I might be in the presense of the William Gibson, but I did a quick scan of the restaurant, on the lookout for Neal Stephenson [5], cyberpunk author as well, known for Snow Crash [6], The Diamond Age [7] and Cryptonomicon [8]. It was too much to hope for, and too terrible to contemplate the both of them being in the same place [9].
