I pop open Google Maps [1], hit the arrow and I find myself contemplating a new outlook on Lower Sheol:

At first, I thought Google [3] decided to put an end to the Eurocentralism of world maps [4] and force a new perspective on us, but then I realized that earlier, I had simply rotated the map to face the direction I was travelling.
Ah well …
