Scaring 'da birds

It's been seven years [1] since last I attended a Fourth of July party with my friend C, and once again, I'm at his house to help scare the local bird population [2]. Fortunately this time, there was no big boom [3], but as a precaution, C moved the festivities to the back yard, next to the pool.

[Like, these are totally legit!] [4]… [5] [Houston, we have liftoff] [6]… [7] [Fireworks by the pool] [8]… [9] [Ooooooh] [10]… [11] [It's okay, the pool won't catch on fire] [12]… [13] [Oops, did we cross the streams?] [14]… [15] [Fire in the hole!] [16]… [17]
