[Fresh lussekatter, still warm from the oven] [1] [2] In celebration of Lucia [3], Wlofie made the traditional lussekatter, a sweet bread [4] made with saffron [5] (which costs about ¼ the price of gold—yes, it's expensive stuff, but you don't need much). I think I enjoyed the lussekatter more than the cake I made [6] the other day.
