In addition to Dave Winer [1] complaining about permalinks [2] on CamWorld, [3] Dave also complains about the design [4] of CamWorld. This is funny, given that Dave's software still uses HTML tables [5] for rendering. From reading, it seems that it's quite difficult to design your own templates for his software, in case you want to use something other than HTML (HyperText Markup Language) tables (like, oh, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)) and Dave just doesn't get [6] why anyone would want to use anything other than tables for layout, which is funny because he's been pushing for this really funky way [7] to do RPC (Remote Procedure Call) when the old ways (oh, like CGI (Common Gateway Interface)) work just as well (*cough* *cough*).
I guess he can't see the trees for the forest in the way.
