Drift Theory was a music collective I, Sloum, put together
in the mid to late '00s and worked at through around 2014.
It is not something that is maintained any longer and I
thought it might find a new home and new ears via the
gemini protocol.
Many that know me on gopher/gemini may mostly know me as
a developer and/or phlogger. However, in another life when
I was a wee bit younger I played in bands and was involved
in a lot of art and music.
I will try to put up one album per week as long as I still
have albums to post. Most will be put up as a form of
archive to the past. However, there will likely be one or
two new things that never managed to get released in any
fashion before this. I will also be adding the occasional
album not released originally as part of the original
Drift Theory project, but that I have the blessings of the
creators (such a better phrasing than 'copyrights' but
dont get me started on the concept of intellectual
property) to send out into the world.
Files will be provided in mp3 format with newly written
liner notes in plain text and whatever album art is still
available.
