For me it’s Whipmaster. Bill Murray with a whip, total chaos, hosting at the height of his powers, cast members flinching for their lives—it’s perfection. And somehow, nobody talks about it. Worse? You can’t even find a decent version online.

For the first time ever, I grabbed a keg of Guinness for a party I was hosting and couldn’t help but wonder how it’d stack up to those perfect bar pours. Pleasantly surprised doesn’t even cover it—the nitro system they provided worked like a dream. It was an absolute creamer!

Amangani by Aman Resorts in Jackson Hole definitely deserves a spot on your list. The Amangani Ski Lounge at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort during winter is an absolute game-changer—talk about elevating the whole ski experience. Plus, you can skip the ski-shop crowds altogether thanks to their dedicated ski concierge. The equipment can be delivered right to the hotel or straight to the ski lounge.

Ah, the quintessential Sierra move—hiding a make-or-break item right under your nose, daring you to miss it. In *King’s Quest VI*, there’s this feather on the beach at the start of the game. Totally unassuming, right? Wrong. Fast forward hours later, and suddenly you need that feather to complete a spell to reach the Land of the Dead. Didn’t pick it up? Congrats, you’re dead too

I thought both places were fine, but ultimately lacked serious flavor or punch given the hype. I think you can find better Korean or Asian street food cuisine in other cities like NYC, LA, or SF. Similarly I thought the omakase at Perry’s was mediocre.

This might be a hot take but I had some incredibly mid meals at places I was excited to try - Anju, Perry’s, and Sura.
Edit: to be clear - none of the places I listed are “nasty af.” They’re perfectly fine, but do not live up to the hype they receive IMO.
