Just a note: you can always serve / build&watch / something else to test the optimized production build locally.

Hehe yeah that would do it, nice to know you fixed it!

Never tried Opera, but my personal favorite combi for programming is Firefox + React devtools.

cheers!

Sounds like it's time to go back to the basics for debugging, in no particular order:

Also, please explain this further.

The browser dev tools don't seem to recognize any elements on the page, as if it's just a blank screen, even though all the components are there.

What dev tool? What is blank? How do you know all components are there? Maybe provide some screenshots.

I would put my money on a memory leak in your app somewhere. Maybe some loop, maybe even triggered by something in your local/session/cookie storage.

Copying this from another thread: please people, do some reading before grabbing your pitchforks. Mozilla and Firefox are still awesome.

They wrote a blog post further explaining the changes made, read it here: https://blog.mozilla.org/en/products/firefox/update-on-terms-of-use/

To summarize, it's perfectly sensible change made purely for legal reasons, they also tweaked the policy to clarify their standings. Nothing changes. You try writing a privacy policy that's legally valid in hundreds of countries and tens of thousands of districts...

Generally, these should all be components, all the way down—paragraphs, images, everything. Sure, some will be small, like an image component that just takes a src and alt prop. But what if you need to handle broken images? Or make the alt text multilingual? If you just throw in a regular img everywhere now or in the future, you're setting yourself up for a huge refactor. You can still pass different dimensions through a classname or other prop.

Same with paragraphs—maybe the font size is X now, but what if you want to tweak it later? You could add a class or use CSS, but you’d still risk updating a ton of places. That’s why, for future-proofing, testability, and even better stories, always make components. Future you will thank you.

ps don’t overcomplicate it, you can always go for a compound component (like each section on your page) or just make a new one instead of forcing everything into a single catch-all thingy.

Doesn't matter, there is a link below it. Open it, and navigate to the line number and character number mentioned. Or search for originalFactory

You have to check the code, find out what happens. If you're not able to fix it, you might be able to mitigate it. Give us the code of the options.factory maybe?

Looks like you're not the only one with this issue, be it scarcely. https://github.com/vercel/next.js/issues?q=is%3Aissue%20originalFactory

If I were you go, I would try to downgrade Nextjs, see if that fixes the issue. And dive into the source code giving the error. What is originalFactory? Does it happen on all browsers? Have you tried clearing your caches?

Yeah, and you can just use Webpack standalone. CRA just uses Webpack, that's all.

Can I just ask.. Why? Webpack is great, still actively maintained and very powerful. Not saying Vite isn't cool, but I wouldn't migrate to it just because of that.

I think it is AI. If you zoom in, you see all kinds of things that don't *quite* make sense. Like one of the dog legs going right through one of the metal bars on the ground. Some dude probably asked AI to make a bunch of dogs that looks a lot like fried chicken getting grilled.

Can I just ask, why is the mother of a famous person being featured on national television, specifically on a news program? I get that this is Fox News, which leans more toward entertainment, but even so, this has absolutely no news value..
