View submission: Short morning practice/intention advice?

Depending on what your physical challenges are, you could do a quick Qigong routine. Or you could chant (or read) a sutra or other text.

Here is a good resource for chants:

https://www.sfzc.org/offerings/establishing-practice/services-sutras-texts-songs

Look under the "Daily Sutras, Verses and Texts" section.

These are some recommended chants:

You can just read them normally or do it more "chant like". If you want an example of cadence, you can listen to the recordings under the "Services & Ceremonies->Recordings" section.

Ty so much for the reply! Yes I actually can’t do Qigong at the moment but I’m hoping eventually I will be able to - although maybe there are routines that will work for people w my issues? I mainly can’t raise my arms/hands over my head right now due to some nerve compression problems. I will do a little research and see what I can find tho!! Also ty SO much for the link and recommendations!! This is perfect 🙏🙏looking forward to incorporating this into my life ❤️❤️
