No idea if it's true or not but you do have a point. I've seen videos liked and commented on that are actually screen grabs from video games.

Information and propaganda is a tool being used by both sides. Outside Russia Ukraine is winning the information war hand over fist.

I think they claim over 10k russian soldiers not fighting anymore because dead, wounded or prisoners of war. Anyway you are right very big numbers. I checked how many soviet soldiers died during winter war (105 days) and even there is no exact number every estimate is +100k. That means +1k every day.
