The International Legion. That's what Ukraine is calling the 20,000 international fighters who have joined the fight to save Ukraine.
Holy shit. What a moment that will go down in literal history.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said more than 20,000 people from 52 countries have already volunteered to fight in Ukraine, where they will serve in a newly created international legion.
I wonder how many Poles. You know there are thousands of Poles who have been waiting their whole life for a chance to go to war against Russia.

Ukraine has received 17,000 Anti-Tank weapons in the past 6 days.
In case you are wondering why you have seen so many videos of destroyed Russian military columns.

From a few days ago:
Russian "court" approved today Russia's censor RosComNadzor's fine imposed on @bellingcat for not branding itself "foreign agent". The fine is half a million rubles.
*We will wait one week and then gladly pay the 10 cents.*

Japan joining a potential been on Russian oil. The Biden administration effectively turning Iran against Russia is an amazing accomplishment if that goes through.

To under score how desperate pulling Syria in is, imagine if the U.S. was involved in an unrelated war and pinging the Kurds for help.

Dang... 20,000 military volunteers from other countries in the new international legion. That's insane. That is as many active duty personnel as a small country has.[1] That's 2% of the size of the active duty Russian army just showing up from around the world to help out.

I admire the strength of the Ukrainian people. There is something to be said when soldiers would rather die for their way of life than submit to the Putin regime. Glory to Ukraine.

I feel bad for the protesters in Russia taking the beatings and jailings for the audacity of not wanting to have a war with their neighbors and ruining their economy.

The thing about Russian ceasefires is that the other side gets to cease while the Russians get to fire.

A few threads back, as suggested by many of you, we started documenting and storing news links and media about the war crimes happening on Ukraine soil. You can view the progress we have made in this public subreddit here: r/compiledwarcrimes.
While this whole project started as a means for the public to view on-the-ground actual evidence, the recent announcement of ICC regarding its investigation of the Russian-Ukrainian War[1], and subsequent announcement that the public can contribute evidence, means that our project can now officially be used to help the cause of our Ukrainian brothers. We will now start looking for ways to legally submit the gathered evidence to the ICC.

With that in mind, we would need your help to go over our subreddit and corroborate our findings and look for things that we may have missed, and if we do, please contribute to the discourse and reach out to us and we will do our due diligence.
On behalf of our team: u/pocket-seeds, u/micro_bio and u/RG6EX we would like to thank all volunteers and all who would like to help.
We are now 4 people from different timezones working together and we would appreciate the extra help scouring the live threads and news sites. 😊

Talks of rising gas prices are part of Putin's current strategy. One of his outs is letting public anger about gas price increases impact sympathies for the Ukrainian cause. If gas prices continue to inflate without any regulation; Putin believes it could be evidence that Russia is NEEDED by the West.
EU and NA countries should be doing their damnedest to free up domestic reserves, fight companies that are price gouging, and accelerate the development of long term renewable energy systems. We can't force the free world to capitulate to autocracy just because we're dependent on their nonrenewable exports.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian army reported several notable developments overnight. The first is the full recapture of Chuhuiv, near Kharkiv. Despite Russian heavy shelling, Ukrainian forces there are not only able to hold off Russia, but also counter-attack.

Gee, I wonder if people still doubt that QAnon was a Russian psyop... the language does seem quite familiar at least:
"The Russian army is the last bastion against the satanic new world order".
Literal quote from the official Russian Officer's Handbook.
Captured by Ukrainian GUR, document appears authentic.

I don't know if this has been posted here yet, it's pretty catchy.
The frontman of Ukranian band Boombox left their US tour to go defend Ukraine. Proceeds of this song are donated to Ukranian relief.

Earlier:
Over 800 verfied vehicle/artillery losses for Russia now. That can be taken as a the minimum baseline. Ukrainians are claiming about twice as much.
To put that in perspective just the photographically *verified* tank losses for Russia are now not far off the total number of tanks the British army have.
(Obviously Russia have a lot more, but it's an unsustainable loss of kit.)
