A Ukrainian soldier has been photographed with a Swedish AT4 anti-tank missile system for the first time.
It confirms that the highly effective Swedish weapon has arrived to the Ukrainian battlefield.
5000 will be delivered in total.

The National Security and Defense Council of #Ukraine reports that the Kremlin is preparing a provocation: residential areas of Russian cities located near the Ukrainian border will be shelled. The Ukrainian military will be blamed for this and announce mobilization in Russia

Imagine being Russia and carefully creating this mythos that your military is genuinely world class, possibly even the second most powerful to America. Curating and adding to this reputation for *decades* to the point where the entire world is scared of your military prowess only to have your military largely collapse in 10 days and a Ukranian farmer tows away your 15 million dollar air defence systems.

Ukraine has nearly 20,000 requests filed by volunteering warfighters from 52 countries 🔥
That seems like a big deal to me. I doubt these volunteers are random schmucks.
There’s probably a good chance that these people are retired professional soldiers with more than a couple weeks of training from 6 months ago, *really* know what they’re doing, and have an itch to shoot some Russians.

Every time I see videos and pictures of russians killing civilians I can't help but think of this quote by Russian General Aleksander Lebed. Veteran of russias last military failure in Afghanistan.
"Have you ever dealt with people who have lost everything in just an hour? In the morning you leave the house where your wife, your children, your parents live. You return and you find a smoking pit. Then something happens to you - to a certain extent you stop being human. You do not need any glory, money anymore; revenge becomes your only joy. And because you no longer cling to life, death avoids you, the bullets fly past. You become a wolf."
I can't see how russia will accomplish any objective other than developing a populace of survivors that absolutely hate them

I'm a Russian. Today our government-sponsored TV-channels claimed on the news that Ukraine was developing chemical weapons, among everything else, and that they've found some documents proving it. I'm so tired of this bullshit. But all I can do is to poke at logical holes, fallacies and inconsistencies in the official statements by our government where I can.

Disputes if it were MANPADS. Experts suggesting it was SA15 which UKR does have.

Ukrainian soldiers will be some of the most diversified trained soldiers in the world by the end of this, having used so many weapons from so many countries.

Ukraine's President Zelensky has also warned that Russian forces are preparing to bombard the southern city of Odesa.
There are reports of multiple military checkpoints in the city, but the streets remain calm and largely empty.
Almost one million people live in the historic port city on the Black Sea coast. Odesa is close to the Moldovan border and the Russia-backed breakaway Moldovan region of Transnistria.
Russian forces have made progress in southern Ukraine since their invasion.
Mykhailo Shmushkovich, the city official in charge of European solidarity, said more than 100,000 people had already fled Odesa.
But he said the city was "ready to fight".
"It could happen any moment. You can't ever be ready for that," he added.

Queue of Ukranian citizens killed waiting to go into the supermarket.
Not sure if this should be shared but people should see the results of Putins war on civilians.
NSFL - distressing.

US coordinating Russian oil embrago, may act unilaterally:
“We are now in very active discussions with our European partners about banning the import of Russian oil to our countries, while of course at the same time maintaining a steady global supply of oil,” Blinken said.
The US wanted a coordinated response with its partners but Blinken added: “I’m not going to rule out taking action one way or another irrespective of what they do.”
Restrictions on Russian oil would be a big step up in the west’s response to Moscow over its invasion of Ukraine with potentially serious ramifications for the global economy. It would also mark an about-turn by the White House, which had rejected bipartisan calls to ban Russian oil imports to the US, saying an embargo would limit global supply and raise prices for consumers.

Not aggressive:

Russia shipping civilian trucks and vans to the front to use as supply vehicles:
https://twitter.com/l_team10/status/1500444752084410378?s=21
I cannot overstate how monumentally *bad* of an idea it is to use box trucks and Utility vans as military transport in an occupation environment.
Not only are they completely vulnerable to anyone with an AK-47 or Molotov cocktail, but they will have next to no off road capability.
This just reeks of desperation.

I cannot imagine them being able to fund this war beyond 8-10 weeks. Their burn rate is extremely high and these sanctions are beginning to strangle them.

Made the mistake of seeing the war in live feed through Twitter. As a veteran it’s tough watching innocent people massacred in their own homes and weighing the boundaries of potentially escalating this into a global war. What an absolutely awful situation Putin has put the world in. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t. We’re all better than this. Maybe we’re not.
