He could loan you his copy of Up, thus not *giving* you Up nor letting you down.

We all know about the the Astley paradox. But thik about this situation... U are hanging off a rope in the edge of a cliff and rick is holding the rope from the top. The rope is bound to break so u tell him to leave you to end ur suffering but he doesn't and eventually u fall. Here, in this situation,he is both giving u up and letting u down. So Rick might already have given someone up, we just don't know out because the person is dead and I have lot of free time.

Rick Astley ones picked up a child. The legend goes he is still walking with her, it is now his child.

It’s a good thing he’s not a hot air balloon driver.

What a great paradox. It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife.

And there's nothing he can do, because he can't run around or hurt you.

Rick wouldn't do this. He can't

Maybe he says he's never gonna give you up because he doesn't have it.

No matter what rick would be breaking 2 rules. If he gives you a copy of up he will give you up and tell a lie. If he doesn’t give it to you he will let you down and hurt you (actually your emotions but still).

Hmmm. This sounds like quantum mechanics. Hopefully we can compare the results to Shrödinger’s Cat.
