All the edge lords in the comments as if reels and shorts didn’t exist

“But it’s cringey and ‘hurts’ the kids with brain rot so it’s good that it’s gone!”. Never mind that other social media sites are the same and becoming worse due to lack of moderation (or selective moderation in some cases).

Spoken like someone who doesn’t realize how badly the algorithms on those two suck giant donkey balls.

I deleted Instagram in 2019, and don’t consume shorts on YT.
There are millions of people like me, who have outgrown the brainrot algorithmic manipulation. And I have reconnected with parts of myself in the absence of so much social media. Now I use Reddit maybe 20-40 minutes a day and that’s it, where in 2017 I was losing 3-4 hours daily on social media.
It’s more about that awareness than the app. But TikTok in particular is the worst offender.

Propaganda is and should always be legal.
