Looking for a daycare in Tampa. Pretty crazy I’m paying $2600/month for my 4 and 2 year old at a KinderCare. I am a Christian so I’m open to churches as well.

That's the going rate, only way you will find anything cheaper is through a church. We were on a waitlist for a church daycare for about a year before a spot opened up, and we were extremely lucky. My understanding is that the waitlist is now over 2 years... Sorry it's just the reality of childcare right now.

Do you need day care from 9-5? Your 4 year old should qualify for a VPk voucher which covers 540 hours of instructions. Also there are half day preschools that are around 300/ 400 a month.

Unsure about the 2 year old- but for the 4 year old, many of the catholic schools are around 7k a year…. And you can get a voucher that pays for nearly all of it. Can see if they have any pre k spots left

$325 a week per kid seems pretty standard. I have a babysitter that charges me $15 an hour and most weeks I use her for 15 hours (3 days a week/ 5 hour days) which brings me to $225. I’m assuming your kids are there Monday - Friday and more than 5 hours a day.
