I eat japanese bbq pretty often as my gf and her family really like it, so we go pretty often for japanese bbq.
I have eaten korean bbq a lot in Korea, Sydney and Japan, but never in taiwan before.
What is an average price to pay per person? Is it common to get set menu?(example, set comes with 2 serves of pork belly, 1 serve of wagyu shoulder, 1 serve of wagyubbeef rib)
I noticed a lot are buffets when I walked past them. Not a huge fan but am open to buffet style as well.
Also how much do bottles of original soju usually cost at average places?

I would advise against going to the buffet-style Korean barbecue.
Honestly, it's really not that great.
Wagyu beef is super expensive in Taiwan, so I'd suggest eating more pork belly instead.
Taiwanese pork is very delicious.
For a restaurant with better quality, the set meal price is usually kept within NT$1,000 per person, with drinks charged separately (NT$100 to NT$200). More refined restaurants might cost around NT$2,000, and approximately NT$3,000 would be the limit for Korean barbecue without including Wagyu beef.

I have been to a few but no Wagyu beef. Better one about 40-50 usd per person for meals. Soju around 10 usd per bottle.

I would say on average with drinks, 1000NT per person is a good ballpark figure for non-buffets. There's going to be some that are cheaper and some that are more expensive and it also depends how big everyone's appetites are but be prepared to spend about that much. There almost always will be some sort of set menu and they're ok. I personally don't like ordering set menus because they tend to push some sort of side dish that no one really wants to eat. I prefer just ordering the cuts of meat I want to eat with the accompanying banchan.
