Why doesn't she just use public transport to get from Caves Beach to Sydney?
It takes 4 hours with a huge amount of backtracking because the buses up there only go to Newcastle, but if that's good enough for the public surely it is for her too.

It’s really not that hard to avoid these controversies.
They could still have exceptionally successful careers, grow their wealth and enjoy plenty of perks without having to embarrass themselves like this.
It’s almost like the wealthy shoplifter that gets a rush from just trying to get away with it.
Jo should probably resign.

This is happening on both political aisles.
Speakman conceded he had used his driver to collect his dry cleaning during work hours….
Why do politicians need these free services? . These dull bludgers can afford it when they have investment properties and earn 190k+?

They seriously just take the piss. Sack her, make her pay for the by election and we'll see who else wants to take advantage of the very generous system we provide for them.

TBF, this is allowed under the ministerial guidelines and every politician does it.
Why they suddenly started to spin it as an attack on the transport minister is the real mystery. What does Murdoch have to gain from this?

This is a bit shit. She hasn’t broken any rules - the car and driver is allowed to be used for private use - but it just smells and she should know more about optics.

This sucks. But I’m guessing lots of Ministers do it. What happened in the past that’s caused someone to keep going after Jo Halen?
