Armond's story is by far one of the most accurate depictions of alcoholism I’ve seen on screen. Alcoholics can go periods of time without drinking but when they start again, they drink more than they did before they stopped. Alcoholism is the progressive inability to drink moderately. If you are bored and looking for something to watch that shows you the consequences of stepping out, try The White Lotus S01.
