To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report.

If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates.

They surely didn't think Palace were going to sell on Deadline Day, did they?

Shame our new data led recruitment approach didn't point out this guy sooner than deadline day.

To the untrained eye it would look like we're running around in a panic in the last 2 days of the window with no fucking clue or semblance of a plan.

Christ this whole window has been so desperate from us

This stinks of a “oh well, we tried” excuse for after the windows shuts. Why would Palace sell on deadline day?

Why wait until so late in the window so that they can't act to replace him?

Bit harsh to call him a reject

Why has everyone been leaving it so late to put in decent bids for Guehi? I feel like we probably would’ve let him go if Spurs/Newcastle had put in a bid like this earlier in the window rather than leaving it until the last minute.

I've followed Tottenham for 40 years.

Text book Levy; makes it look like he's trying oh-so-hard to spend £70 mill, and make sure the press know all about it, when he knows there is no chance. 3rd Feb. lol

Really is Levy’s equivalent of approaching every possible woman (even the ones that are far too attractive for you) towards the end of the night in the hopes one will go back home with you.

I was going to come on here and say that was never going to happen but £70 million? Wow. Might have been worth considering if he only has 18 months left on the contract.

Bid for a player that the club don't want to sell, at a time they would never sell, just so he can say they tried.

Stone cold classic from Levy.
