View submission: Liverpool owners won’t sell club to ‘interested’ Elon Musk
A far-right foreign government official taking over a club with powerful local pride in a city with strong socialist history would be quite something to witness lmao
Honestly I'm just glad to see one of these shitty articles where he isn't linked with taking over Cheltenham Town!

He's not even an actual government official. The President can't just name a new department, Congress has to do that, and then it would have to confirm Musk. For now, he and his "department" are just unofficial advisors.

If it’s any consolation, we know what it feels like when the government takes control of a football club.. then forces a quick sale or else risk expulsion from the league.

He’s not a government official. Department of Governmental Efficiency is nothing more than the naive and pretentious ideas of a few stupid twats who got lucky and rich off of tech and now tho I they know everything about governing. It’s pretty much a think tank with a stupid name to prop up Musk and Ramaswamy’s egos while Trump and the republicans back door a bunch of subsidies for Tesla and Space X while calling everyone else socialists.

It would be a power move, showing money is the key for everything.
