Don't put off the things you want to do, just because you're not 100% ready yet. Start small with the skills you have today. You will pick up skills as you go. It's impossible not to. Particularly with hobbies, it's more about the journey than the end result. Just make a start.

Well, maybe don't start doing first aid on friends, family and strangers until you know a bit more about that.

My goal this year is to average 10,000 steps a day. It seems impossible but I just take it one day at a time. So far, so good.

definitely have been trying to do the things i been meaning to do, but im at a point where im not even sure what i want to do or how ill even do them.... well ig learn to do the sewing, repairs, etc. stuff, which is essentially living in line with one of my values of independence, but i feel with a lot of these things, i cant really do them until a problem comes up.

ex: i cant really learn how to fix a car unless my car needs fixing. the only thing i can do is work with a mechanic but i have work, school, and other responsibilities. as you said though, ill do what i can with what i have where i am

i think i just need to change my perspective. i also think i need to think less and do more
